Cloudbet Restricted Countries: The Full List, Quoted From Its Terms
Cloudbet's terms name 22 countries and territories where you may not be located while using the site, including Germany, the United Kingdom, Spain, Japan and the United States. Here is clause 7.1.3 in full, plus the $2,200 verification threshold, checked at source on 14 October 2026.
Quick answer
- Cloudbet's terms (clause 7.1.3) bar use from Australia, Austria, Belgium, China, Macau, Hong Kong, Curaçao, Cuba, France, Germany, Iran, Japan, Lithuania, Malta, Myanmar, the Netherlands, North Korea, Singapore, Syria, Spain, Turkey, the US and its territories, the UK, and Crimea, Donetsk and Luhansk. - The bar is on where you are physically located, not your nationality, and it applies to withdrawals and transfers as well as play. (Source: cloudbet.com Terms 7.1.3, read 2026-10-14)
- Japan and Turkey were added on 30 September 2026. Brazil, Finland, Italy and South Korea are not on the list — but absence from an operator's list says nothing about whether online gambling is legal where you live. (Source: cloudbet.com Terms 7.1.3, read 2026-10-14)
- Cloudbet is operated by Halcyon Super Holdings B.V. under Curaçao licence OGL/2024/328/0599; the regulator's register lists its status as "Assessment in progress" (expiry recorded 23 May 2026). (Source: CGA licence register, PDF of 12 Oct 2026, read 2026-10-14)

What changed on 30 September 2026
Cloudbet’s terms now carry the date 30 September 2026. Against the copy we archived on 8 September 2026, clause 7.1.3 gained two entries, Japan and Turkey. The verification clause moved from 18.1.5 to 21.1.5 and the betting-limit clauses from 12.x to 13.x; their wording did not change. We keep a dated copy of every version we read, so a future change will be reported the same way.
Note that Curaçao itself is on the list — the jurisdiction that issues Cloudbet’s licence. That is normal for Curaçao-licensed operators, which are generally barred from serving the local market, and it is a useful reminder that a licence is a permission to operate, not a statement that the operator is available where you are.
Three things the wording actually means
It is about location, not nationality. A German citizen living in Tokyo is not caught by the clause; a Japanese citizen sitting in Berlin is. Operators check location, not passports.
It explicitly covers withdrawals. The clause says “including making requests for withdrawal or transfers of funds”. This is the sentence that matters most, because location checks are typically enforced at the cash-out step rather than at sign-up. The expensive time to discover a restriction is after there is a balance to lose.
Absence from the list is not permission. Brazil, Finland, Italy and South Korea are not named (Japan was, from 30 September 2026). That tells you what the operator’s terms say, and nothing at all about whether online casino play is legal for you. Several countries not on this list prohibit it under their own law. Check your own jurisdiction; the operator’s list is not a substitute.
The $2,200 verification threshold
Separately, clause 21.1.5 states:
Identity verification will be required when cumulative deposits reach or exceed USD $2,200.
Cumulative is the operative word. Twenty deposits of $110 reach the threshold exactly as one deposit of $2,200 does. If you intend to deposit at any real volume, you will be verified — so it is worth having documents ready before a withdrawal is pending rather than after.
For EU residents, clause 23.5 adds a separate prepayment limit tied to what you “regularly use for placing a bet”, with the operator reserving the right to cap prepayments based on your typical spend.
What we do with this
We publish an honest review of Cloudbet and we have a commercial relationship with it. That is exactly why this page exists in the form it does: a review that says “restricts various countries” is not useful to anyone, and it was what our own page said until we sat down and read the terms.
If your country is on the list above, no affiliate link on this site is worth anything to you, and neither is the offer. If it is not on the list, the next things worth checking are the licence, the withdrawal behaviour, and what the welcome offer is actually worth — for Cloudbet that is rakeback rather than a rollover bonus, which is a meaningfully better structure than a headline match.
Terms change without notice, and operators update restricted lists as regulation moves. This page quotes the version dated 30 September 2026, read on 14 October 2026 and links the source above — check the live text before you deposit. Play only what you can afford to lose, where it is legal for you.
FAQ
- Is Cloudbet available in Germany?
- No. Germany is named in clause 7.1.3 of Cloudbet's terms as a country where you must not be physically located while using the site. Austria is also named. Accounts opened from a restricted location risk being closed and withdrawals being refused, so this matters before you deposit rather than after.
- Can I use Cloudbet in the United States or the United Kingdom?
- No. The terms name both the United States and its territories and the United Kingdom. The restriction applies to your physical location at the time of use, including when you request a withdrawal.
- Is Cloudbet available in Japan, Brazil or South Korea?
- Japan is now named: the revision of Cloudbet's terms dated 30 September 2026 added Japan and Turkey to clause 7.1.3, so the site may not be used from Japan, including for withdrawals. Brazil and South Korea do not appear in the list as we read it on 14 October 2026. That is a statement about the operator's terms only. Whether online casino play is lawful for you is a separate question governed by your own jurisdiction, and in several countries it is not.
- When does Cloudbet require KYC verification?
- Clause 21.1.5 states that identity verification is required when cumulative deposits reach or exceed USD $2,200. Because it is cumulative rather than per-transaction, a series of small deposits reaches the threshold just as a single large one does.
- What happens if I use a VPN from a restricted country?
- We do not recommend it and we will not explain how. The clause is about physical location, and operators routinely verify location at withdrawal — which is the point where a mismatch costs you the balance, not the point where it is convenient to discover. If your country is on the list, the practical answer is that this operator is not available to you.
